I cannot start my Bluetooth® application.
Please check whether you have properly plugged in your Blue Dongle II and whether the device is powered on. Bluetooth® USB dongles can be detected automatically if they are in the IVT known device list.

How can I find my Bluetooth® device information?
Right click the center ball “My Device” and select “Properties” in the popup menu. In the “My Bluetooth Device” dialog box you can find device names, device addresses, device manufacturers etc.

I cannot find the other Bluetooth® device for connection.
Check whether the Bluetooth® device is in discoverable mode. If the device is set to non-discoverable mode, your Blue Dongle II will not be able to find it. Also check if the device is within the radio range.

I cannot find the other Bluetooth® device services.
  • Check if the Bluetooth® device is in connectable mode. If the device is set to non-connectable mode, your Blue Dongle II will not be able to find it.
  • Check if the device is within the radio range.
  • Check if the device is already connected to another device. Some devices don’t support more than one connection at the same time. It is recommended to only have one active connection.
  • Verify if both sides have used the correct Bluetooth® PIN-Code for pairing. The Bluetooth® PIN-Code for pairing should be the same at both sides.
Can I update the IVT software myself?
Yes, you can update this software yourself. Please check the manual for more information.
